Mission Statement
Generation Grace Foundation exists to keep siblings together and families connected when incarceration threatens to tear them apart.
Rooted in lived experience, we provide culturally sensitive, family-centered support to children of incarcerated parents, their caregivers, and their parents. Our mission is to reduce trauma, challenge stigma, and disrupt the foster care-to-prison pipeline by honoring each family’s culture, story, and need for connection.
We fight for sibling unity because no child should lose their brothers and sisters to the system. Through kinship assistance, caregiver support, advocacy, and trauma-informed tools that maintain connection, we help families stay whole—even in separation.
We’re not just filling the gaps the system left behind—we’re rebuilding legacies and protecting the bonds that matter most.

Generation Grace Foundation is working toward a future where culturally rooted, trauma-informed care replaces cycles of punishment and disconnection. Our vision is to create family-style homes and holistic support systems that protect sibling bonds, restore parent-child relationships, and ensure no child has to face the system alone.
